Restorative Qigong Teacher
Steve Thomas B.A.(Hons), Lic.Ac, FATMS, AHPRA.
Steve Thomas first came across both Tai chi qigong and acupuncture in 1987 when studying Psychology and Philosophy in the UK. The effects of both were life changing, so much so, that after graduating in 1990, he went on to study Acupuncture and qualified in 1994.
Qigong, one of the seven branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has been a life long practice.
Steve has been fortunate to learn from many teachers over the years and still trains yearly with Master Simon Blow.
Steve has taught many classes and workshops in the UK and in Australia and currently teaches three private classes in Hobart and public classes periodically for the Tasmanian Cancer Council and St Luke's Health. He is currently writing a book on qigong.
He is a board certified Chinese Medicine practitioner with general registration as an Acupuncturist, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is also a Fellow of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society. (FATMS).
He has been practicing acupuncture for 31 years and qigong for over 35 years.
